Golden Amboyna Imperial MG 5 Elite
This MG-Shaped Imperial 5-string features a Roasted Ash body, Walnut tone block, and Amazon Rosewood fingerboard. This unique combination gives this instrument a punchy and articulate, yet warm tone with a powerful low end, precise mids, and smooth, articulate highs. Roasted Ash, which is a fairly new material for us, gives the same punch and aggressive attack as regular Ash, but with an overall darker sound.
This bass also features an extremely rare Golden Amboyna Burl solid top, as well as matching pickup covers, accented with Gold hardware!

I got my Emperor Standard 5 Classic in June. It's Fiesta Red, with White Pickguard, Ash Body with Maple Neck and Birdseye Maple Fingerboard. Don't let the old school vibe fool you, it's every inch a Fodera. Though it's different than my Custom Neck-thru, I love it just as much. My favorite of the two is whichever one I'm playing at the time. I've played many others over the years, Fender, PRS, Pudula, Yamaha, Guild and Gibson. There's nothing like a Fodera. Pricy, yes and worth every penny. I started playing Fodera basses in 1989 and I've never looked back.
